Who and what are Nextstep?
We are the LSC-funded adult careers service for
people aged 20+ who are living and working in Shropshire.
Our advisers provide free, independent and confidential information and advice on subjects such as:
How to choose the most suitable course from all that’s on offer
How to use old and new skills to secure employment
Help with writing a CV or completing an application form
Options for what to do next, when you’ve finished your current course
At the moment, the majority of our customers have yet to achieve their first Level 2 qualification, which is equivalent to 5 GCSE, grades A-C and in a nutshell we help people get closer to their educational and/or career related goals.
One of learning Advisors Jenny Crowson is currently offering this free service at Broseley Library once a month.
