John Wilkinson School is a thriving Primary School that was established in 1976. The school has seven attractive classrooms with interactive whiteboard technology, a school hall equipped with physical education equipment, an office area, a general purpose room and a new library area.
School is situated on a particularly attractive site with hard play areas, sports field, play mound, extensive gardens, a pool and uncultivated area to encourage the development of natural habitats for plants and wildlife. A willow tunnel and wooden play equipment provide activities for the children during break. The vegetable garden is a new addition to the grounds and begins our outdoor classroom initiative.
We hope that all children attending our school will feel valued within the school community and benefit from all the learning opportunities available to them.

We consider that the education of children should be a partnership between home and school. To this end we welcome and encourage regular contact between teachers and parents/guardians/carers and their involvement in school activities.
