Competition Extended

Due to some crossed wires we are now extending the competition to the 23rd of May. Can i ask everyone to pass on this information and lets get the kids creative!!

Here’s the competition again : If your aged between 0-16yrs you can have a go at designing the Broseley eco-bag logo. Closing date is the 23rd of May. Send all entries to : Eco bag competition, 59 Birchmeadow,Broseley,Shropshire TF12 5LJ. Please write your name, age, and address on the back of the entrie. The theme is ‘Broseley’ - One colour only - Make it bold and beautiful - Please print on a A4 sheet.

Cat Shot

Police in Broseley are appealing for information after a pet cat was shot with an air weapon, forcing a vet to put it to sleep.

The seven month old black cat was shot at between about 8am and 11.30am on Friday(AUG 24) in the field behind Birch Meadow.

The owners realised something was wrong when it returned to the house at lunchtime and rushed the animal to the vet, where the pellet was found and the cat had to be put to sleep.

Constable Allan Hand, local police officer for the area, today appealed for anyone who saw or (more…)
