Are YOU missing a scooter?

Wednesday, April 30th, 2008

An email from Malcolm (C.S.O)

While on foot patrol yesterday I found an abandoned child’s purple
“Bratz” fold up scooter. It is in fairly good condition and appeared
to have been thrown over a fence from the path at the back of
Pritchard House. It is possoble it had been “taken” from a garden or
house and then abandoned.

If anyone has lost one, please contact me at the normal Broseley Local Police Team contact details.

Exhibition

Sunday, April 20th, 2008

There will be an exhibition of local history in Broseley
Library for the month of May, opening on Saturday 26th April.
It is being prepared by members of Broseley Local History Society and
will feature the bicentenary of top ironmaster, John Wilkinson and his
home at The Lawns, mention a few other famous folk who lived in
Broseley and sample the social history. Besides the exhibition
boards of graphics there will be a display case of local products.
Perhaps the highlight of the show will be the first public display of
a cast iron fireback made in 1618. It originally came from a stone
cottage in Shirlett and was described by John Randall in his book on
Broseley.
