Our main role is in providing opportunities for young people and adults with learning difficulties, but we also run rural arts and crafts workshops for all kinds of groups and individuals from Shropshire and the West Midlands.

We are a Community Interest Company which means we are not for profit with charitable purposes but not a registered charity.
We provide experiences in arts and rural crafts, gardening and environmental awareness and small animal care. Our focus is on provision for disadvantaged groups and individuals and people of all ages with learning difficulties and special needs. Hows BroseleyOnline doing?

Tuesday, February 19th, 2008

broseley flyer
BroseleyOnline is attracting over 6000 visitors a month (This peaked at 8000 in July last year). I’m discovering that this site is growing in two directions - Community informtion & Tourism information .. I seem to be spending my time answering emails from people wanting to know where to stay & eat in Broseley (Amazing!!!). It would seem that Broseley is in need of a ‘Tourist’ website. What do you think?..On the other hand I’m getting more and more information from local people about events going on and about Broseley.

To sum this all up… Broseleyonline is doing GREAT!!

Thanks for your support and continued help.

Ceilidh (”Kay-lay”) - updated

Monday, February 18th, 2008

A Ceilidh (pronounced “Kay-lay”, emphasis on 1st syllable) is many things. It derives from the Gaelic word meaning a visit and originally meant just that (and still does in Gaelic). It can also mean a house party, a concert or more usually an evening of informal Scottish traditional dancing to informal music.

In England the term Ceilidh has come be associated with an evening of dancing to a band that combines traditional and modern instruments - and at the Broseley Ceilidhs you will find just that……. an evening of fun dancing that embraces all of the family with a caller who welcomes all levels of experience.

Broseleyonline now has its very own “kay-lay” page - Go check out the events planned for the year now!

Many Thanks to Alistair for the information..
