Broseley Customer First Point will be supporting Family Learning Week during 5 Ocotber - 10 October. We have a small number of Family learning scratch cards which are a fun way to learn numeracy skills and a small number of Guide to Family Fun- a guide to having fun learning together at home. these items will be free. We will also have a number of family learning activities taking place which people can join in with, As part of this week we will be supporting Get on line Day offering free help to anyone who would like to send emails and use the internet but does not know how.

BROSELEY SCOOTER MARATHON IN AID OF FRIENDLY BUS
The event will start on Sunday 7th october[14th if wet] from the wilkinson avenue dwellings.
Drivers will do twenty laps of the wilkinson avenue circuit[batteries permitting].
sponsor forms are around town and a collection will be made on the day.

Charity Event in aid of Shropshire eye research fund. Saturday the 29th September at the Broseley Social club. Entertainment donated by ‘Bubbles’. Auction for : Spanish Cruise for four people / A week in a villa for four PLUS many more prizes!. Tickets can be obtained from Simon Gibbons / Wedges / Hortons COST (6GBP) Limited Tickets!

Town council meeting

Next one is this Tuesday 11 September. The public can listen to the
whole meeting but are welcome to speak in the first 10 minutes. We
will stand in memory of Roy Lane at the start of the meeting.

The Fundraising Ploughman’s Lunch in aid of the mayor’s chrity - the
Flying Doctor appeal - raised well over 600(GBP) yesterday. I am really
grateful to all the willing helpers and all who came for lunch or
bought raffle tickets. Raffle prize winners included Nora griffiths,
Greta Millward Jan Hardy, Kath Ling, Mr. Rollinson, Bob Hodgson,
Mandy Day, Eileen Reynolds and Susan Gibbs.
I think everyone enjoyed themselves and I appreciate their
overwhelming generosity.
