Just a quick note to let your know I’m working on a new ‘ LOOK ‘ for BroseleyOnline.

Dont worry!, It will still be easy to navigate and give you all the news & events that Broseley has to offer.

BroseleyOnline is getting bigger by the month and I really want to make it more user friendly and professional looking.

One of the features will see a ‘Featured News’ section - Its going to look great stay tuned for more info!

If you would like to make a suggestion for the new ‘Look’ head over to the forum and let me know your thoughts!

I am pleased to announce that the All Saints church page has now been updated. A SPECIAL thank you to David Buchanan who has sent me all the information I needed to get the web page up and running.

Our Church is amazing and the heart of our community I’m so glad we now have a page here on BroseleyOnline to represent it!

All Saints Church Classical Concert

A Classical Concert performed by the Birmingham Philharmonic

Ticket prices: Adults 10 pounds. Children under 16, 7 pounds

The event went ahead and was a great success despite the weather. A total of 32 people took part in the event. These were made up of all ages, but most were youngsters. There was a lot of support from members of the Broseley town council and the deputy mayor, Roy Childs cycled on a tandem.Lots of money was raised, a final figure yet to be established. The money will go towards Broseley Boxing Club and The Friendly Bus. Two of the participants who are employed by Bridgnorth Council were sponsored with the aim of getting money for a Land Army Celebration. We had arranged caterers but were let down at the last minute. Fortunately local businesses rallied round and lunch was still provided which was enjoyed by all and eaten near the River under the Police gazebo. Rolls were donated by Catherins Bakery(Broseley),fruit was donated by Nick Downes.(Fruit and Veg Broseley) Cycles and helmets for thoes who did not have them were provided by The Cycle Hub at Jackfield.

Money to help support the event came from The Police AuthorityCommunityFund. This was used to buy prizes as well as to hire cycles and to purchase small items such as bottled water.

Feedback from young people was very positive. Many of them asked when we would do this again.
